Every mega is goofy. That's the point!

I never use the megas, I always stay with the classic 'mon.

I always felt the whole point of Megas was to go absurdly over the top. Go the part of the design process where an art director would normally say "Okay, now dial it back a bit."

That's why they're called Megas, and why they're temporary.

I suppose that as an artist making his opinion known I'm agreeing once again with >>1199016 and Esh seems right on the money!

well, i assume he means they look cool because  the one on the top-left looks like a literal penis, and the one on the top-right looks like a literal vagina; he probably thinks the ones on the bottom look goofy because we have one that looks like a badly-failed suicide attempt and another that looks like an overprotective neurotic parent

i.e.: gamefreak apparently thinks sex is cool while the latter should be made fun of -- either that or they are being meta and think it's funny that they can make characters like this and nopony seems to notice (or perhaps care). i.e.: see grape commercial which everypony should have seen by now
