It's why I don't get it why there are people who find furry-fans disgusting in their taste of smut, or why there are people who find the idea of robot+human romantic/sexual relations disgusting when it's been romanticized of humans falling in love with feyfolk or other worldly beings since times of myth. Even space sci-fi often romanticize humans with alien partners.
Usually what these furries, robots, feyfolk and aliens all have in common is attractive humanoid bodies that we naturally find attractive in our species.
I guess there are those people who hate it because they hate to admit they find such fictional beings arousing or attractive themselves. Just how our monke-brains are wired.
