Howdy fellows!
Ponychan's finally back up, so I thought I'd make a little crosspost for any of the stragglers still hanging around.

I just happened to have that manga, is all.
Currently listening to one of the Ciaphas Cain novels. "The Emperor's Finest".

Need to sit down and read something proper, though, admittedly... The Dragon and the Author is still on my backlog. Maybe I give that a go.

In the last year or two, I have taken to listening to audio books while I draw.

I just finished the original "Who Censored Roger Rabbit" novel by Gary K. Wolf today, and it really is interesting considering how different it is from the film we all know.

It is still largely a parody of two fisted detective tales, but that actually works in its favor since Eddie Valiants' colorful narration is often used to describe literal cartoon characters and outlandish scenarios. It's also a much darker story withh a completely different case -Jessica is much more morally grey,I the racism allegorier with the toons are more pronounced.. I really enjoyed it overall.

Apparently, Wolf rather likes the movie a lot more than his own book and actually wrote two books that work as sequels to the movie rather than his own story. I might track those down, too.

But yeah, this was in interesting experience.
