How seriously do you take your diet?

 No.1210474

I'm not on a diet but I tend to eat well during the week then eat shit at the weekend

It all balances out

If your work comes up and says
"We have a box of muffins / donuts, those who want can grab one"
would you go for it?

Or would you be like
"Sorry, mate, I had a bowl of unsweetened oatmeal this morning. I'll pass."?

I'm paying a bit more attention to it this year, but for the time being just trying to ingest fewer calories.

Not at all. I eat what I want.

Wait, does cake even have cholesterol? I thought that was a meat thing. Just use less eggs maybe?

I don't really pay much attention to it beyond how much variety is in it.

I try to at least budget well, and at the very very least I have a healthy breakfast of 2 eggs, black beans, salsa, with coffee and a banana

But on the same day I end up buying a box of uncrrustables and 2 bags of gummies :pinkie4:

I make sure that I eat enough protein and also eat some veggies.  I tried losing fat using a diet, but I never managed to stick to counting calories, so I took a GLP-1 receptor agonist instead, which worked wonderfully, essentially making my body count calories for me and making me feel full when I've consumed the right amount.

Dietary cholesterol typically has little effect on blood cholesterol.

I eat whatever my stomach craves, be it cheerios, pickles, pizza, chicken nuggets, or pear slices. my body always seems to know best. my doctor says my cholesterol is a little high, but would be better if I exercised more. I look perfectly healthy though. haven't gained or lost more than 5 pounds in the last 15 years

Not very serious to be frank, I should lose some pounds but food's just too tasty.

I just eat what U want, and confess I'm fat over it, perhaps nearing or passed overweight.

But, I have changed to starting the day eating strawberries instead of cereal or breakfast muffin, and I feel it has improved my digestion.

I am cool with that input
but you commission some questionable pieces.

I don't, most of the time. It's pretty low on my list of priorities.

In his defense, it's called 'AI generated4.jpg', so he probably didn't commission it.

vegan, no animal or animal product ingredients, peanut butter sandwiches (protein), fruit sometimes, maybe some vegan meat substitutes such as pizza every now and then. some herbal supplements, which i [like to think] is making up for the lack of vegetables but probably isnt as much as i hope.

need to start eating a lot more vegetables

weight has never been an issue

>>1210636
now that u mention it, it does look ai-generated

That is generally a bad idea unless you supplement carefully to make sure that you're not deficient in any micronutrients (e.g., B12, creatine, choline, etc.).

It is AI generated. Just whipped it up for a one-time use sort of thing.

Don't get me wrong, prefer hand-drawn over AI, just felt kind of a wasted effort to draw a picture of fat Epic Mount for a one-off joke at the time.

Somewhere I wanna agree to some.
Though I wonder how often vegans / vegetarians have a poor diet compared to the average omnitarian.

It's *easier* to have a bad diet as a vegan, but being vegan does not automatically equal having a bad diet. You actually *can* get all your required nutrients in a solely vegan diet without taking supplements, you just have to actually know what you're doing.

Couldn't get fresh strawberries today.
Well, I could, but I couldn't find Best Before date on the packaging, given it takes a day or two mould to claim my strawberries.

Gonna have to settle for a pasty for breakfast.

 No.1210868

>>1210655
you can even do it with just potatoes if you're really good.

 No.1210919

Strawberries always go bad so fast that i just learned to eat them on the same day or the next morning. That being said, i think a visual inspection would be better than the printed date. sometimes i get them with 3 days left on the date and they are spoiled and moldy, and other times they are out of date and not even sweet yet. so i just use my own judgement now.

 No.1210920

>>1210919
Well, I try to make them last. I buy 'em as fresh as I can, and I hear putting paper towel in them absorbs moisture and prevent mold from starting.

But strawberries are great for a quick and lazy breakfast when you're tired of cereal.

 No.1210921

Try combining strawberries and cereal for a taste sensation that will send you to the moon.

I always wonder
how cheap are strawberries elsewhere in the world.

 No.1210924

I find them to be fairly expensive as far as fruit goes.

I will say, a bowl of Greek/Turkish yoghurt with shredded banana or clementine can hit the spot too.

 No.1210928

I was going to get strawberries because of this convo but i got mandarin oranges instead because it was less than 2 bucks for 3lbs :P
